Are you envisioning a wedding that captures the essence of urban charm and timeless romance? Look no further than downtown Dallas, Texas, where the historic 400 N Ervay, once home to the Mercantile National Bank, now also serves as a stunning wedding venue. This luxury Dallas wedding venue is full of options for modern couples looking for a place to hold their special day. Danielle and Charlie’s timeless and classic wedding at 400 N Ervay embraced the ambiance and architecture of the venue while incorporating their own personal elements and details. I was so excited to travel to Dallas to capture their wedding at the beginning of March!
About 400 N Ervay
Nestled in the heart of downtown Dallas, 400 N Ervay offers couples the rare opportunity to exchange vows amidst the vibrant energy of the city. You first step into the grand lobby, with soaring ceilings and intricate architectural details, as you prepare to embark on the most memorable journey of your life.
With its rich history and timeless elegance, 400 N Ervay provides the perfect backdrop for a wedding that is both classic and contemporary. Say “I do” in the grandeur of the building’s Court Room, where original wood and marble detailing create an atmosphere of opulence and romance or on the Rooftop, with breathtaking views and the feeling of the city all around you.
After the ceremony, venture into downtown Dallas for photos that capture the essence of the city. From the iconic skyline to the picturesque streets lined with historic buildings, downtown Dallas offers endless opportunities for stunning wedding photos and moments that will be cherished for a lifetime.
As the sun sets, retreat back to the Court Room at 400 N Ervay for a reception that is as enchanting as it is unforgettable. With its sparkling chandeliers, gleaming hardwood floors, and panoramic views of the city skyline, the Court Room sets the stage for an evening of celebration and joy.
But it’s not just the stunning aesthetics that make 400 N Ervay the perfect wedding venue. The dedicated event staff are committed to bringing your vision to life, ensuring that every detail is executed flawlessly. From exquisite catering options to perfecting fine details, they will work tirelessly to create a wedding day that is uniquely yours.
A Timeless and Classic Wedding in March
400 N Ervay was the perfect location for Danielle and Charlie’s wedding day, which was truly unforgettable. There are so many different backdrops for details photos and portraits throughout the venue, which creates a diverse gallery that showcases the many different parts of a wedding day. They chose to have their ceremony inside the Court Room, so we utilized the rooftop location for their first look and portraits.
Then, instead of staying inside the venue, we moved outside with their wedding party for group photos outside the 400 N Ervay building in Downtown Dallas. This was the perfect location to set the scene for their day and showcased the amazing architecture Dallas has to offer.
For their reception we returned to the Court Room, which had been changed over by the 400 N Ervay staff to their reception setup. Instead of florals, Danielle and Charlie opted for small lamps at every table to add to the ambiance of the space. They also had a unique velvet curtain backdrop to act as their photo both location, which I thought added such an elegant but fun touch to their reception!
Danielle and Charlie’s wedding day was one of my favorite weddings I’ve captured to date. It was full of so much love, elegance, and charm. As a luxury destination wedding photographer, I value timeless and authentic weddings that celebrate the joy, connection, and emotion that comes with marriage. Are you planning a wedding like this? Reach out to me! I’d love to hear about your vision for your day and connect about how I can serve you and bring that vision to life.
